"WHERE in the world should we go to?" asks Mary. Mary Lightfine, aka Nurse Without Boundaries is a war zone nurse with experience in fifty-four countries and counting. Mary's college lecture program requires new material from time to time, so the question is not theoretical.

"Well, let's see", I reflect, "Cuba would be good, but the U.S. government is cracking down on U.S. citizens who travel there. You've been to Asia and Africa fairly recently. How about something in Latin America?"

So starts our 5,200 nautical mile odyssey around Mexico in a 1968 Cessna 337C Skymaster loaded to the rafters with donated medical equipment. Follow our flight from Daytona Beach through Key West to Cancun, on to the Palenque jungle ruins and Tuxtla Gutierrez in Chiapas state, then north past Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta to Baja California, home of the best whale watching in the Americas!
